Milkshake Days
This year we will have Milkshake Days once per month. We have broken the days down on School Day to:
- Fall Milkshake Day: November 13 and December 11. Deadline to order is October 29th, 2026
- Winter Milkshake Days: January 8, February 19 and March 5. Deadline to order is December 10th, 2026
- Spring Milkshake Days: April 9, May 21 and June 11. Deadline to order is March 4th, 2027
Monies raised through the Milkshake Fundraisers will go towards grade 8 graduation ceremony celebration, classroom manipulatives, gym equiptment, etc.
Police Checks
As per LDSB policy all persons volunteering within the school, attending field trips, etc are required to have a Vulnerable Sector & Police Record Check on file. This year the Board has implemented a new policy. As of September 21st, all Vulnerable Sector CPICs are to be filed through the central LDSB Police Record Check Portal. If you would like to complete a Vulnerable Sector Police Check, you can do so through the OPP website. As part of the records application process for volunteers, a supporting letter is required from the school. Kindlyemail the office to request your letter. Please include your legal name in your email.
If the school has your current CPIC on file you are not required to upload it to this portal. However, if you do hold a current CPIC with the school, please complete the following Offence Declaration (which now be required each calendar school year) and either email the completed form to the school or send a completed papercopy with your child.

October Subway Lunches
We received notification this week that Subway in Sydenham will be closed from October 26th to November 5th. If you placed an order on either of these days you will be receiving a refund.
November lunches are open on School Day and the deadline to order is October 15th.
